| Now that you have Windows 7 or Windows Vista on your computer, where do you go to make changes to it? There are so many new features available, that trying to find the right tool for the job can become overwhelming. This easy feature allows you to create a folder which will give you access to a large number of shortcuts. The feature has been named is intended to give developers quick access to areas of the operating system, but computer owners can benefit from this feature as well. Because it is so powerful, it has been named “GodMode” by many people on the Internet. Our only warning is that you must use this tool wisely, and not change settings unless you know what they will do. This tool can be created by following these 2 easy steps: 1. Create a folder on your desktop 2. Name it GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} Whatever you put before the period (.) will be the name of the folder created on the desktop (which means you do not have to call it GodMode if you do not want to, just remember to call it something appropriate) Now just open the folder and you will see a long list of shortcuts to different areas of the operating system. All of the tools, utilities and interfaces that are found inside this folder can also be found in Control Panel, this new folder just puts them all into one big list and categorizes them for easy access. |
